Herbert Lawson

Herbert Lawson the founder of the Windham companies has been a leader in the real estate development industry for a half-century. Mr. Lawson and his partners have acquired, developed, built, marketed, and sold in excess of 4 billion dollars worth of single family, multi-family, and commercial real estate. He has also been engaged as a consultant throughout his career by government and banking institutions for assistance on problem loans, REO properties and work out situations. In addition to real estate development and consulting, he has also managed large asset portfolios, including a 5000-unit national apartment portfolio, and other asset classes such as office and mixed-use developments.
Mr. Lawson is a past president of the Building Industry Association of Michigan, and currently serves on its Board of Directors. He is a licensed builder and real estate broker, and was inducted into the Building Industry Association Hall of Fame in 2013.
Steven M. Lawson

Steven Lawson has been part of the Windham companies for more than 20 years. Over the past 15 years Mr. Lawson was instrumental in creating Windham Realty Group China a leading company in China for information, consulting, and related services for U.S. real estate investment for Chinese Nationals. Now considered one of the leading experts on the subject of Asian outbound investment into U.S. real estate; he has been featured by major international news outlets including Forbes, The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, The New York Times, and The Economist.
Mr. Lawson brings a strong technology background to the Windham companies having designed and built some of the largest educational computer networks in the K-12, higher education, and medical sectors in Michigan during the Internet infrastructure boom of the 1990's.
Joshua Gadomski
Vice President
For more than 8 years, Joshua has overseen various Development and Project Management functions for Windham in Florida including, land acquisition, due diligence, zoning, engineering, and entitlement procedures. Joshua Coordinates and interacts with local and State Committees, Councils, Commissions and other governmental agencies.
He is also skilled with the use of the organization of assets and resources to balance planning, staffing, and evaluations of projects in a timely manner. Joshua has broad operational experience and knowledge in preparing, monitoring, and administering related plans, and making adjustments to ensure all financial, service, and operational goals are attained.
Joshua has a bachelor’s degree from Florida Golf Coast University and is a licensed civil engineer (EI). He is involved in the planning, engineering, and development of all Windham’s Florida projects.
Karen Shepherd
Sr. Real Estate Manager
Karen Shepherd brings decades long experience in single family, multi-family and mixed-use real estate development to Windham. She is a real estate licnesee in Michigan, and is experienced in all facets of real estate transactions from contract through closing. Her expertise includes preparation and review of offers to purchase, review and approval of title work, surveys, and all matters of title insurance.
She is involved with all areas of Windham's land development business including due diligence, contracts, government entitlements, finance, and title from project inception through closing.
Karen also oversees our administrative services department. She has been with Windham for more than 28 years.
Christina Southwick
Broker
Christina is a Southwest Florida native. She has been involved residential and commercial real estate since 2000 and is the Real Estate Broker for Magnolia Landing Realty, LLC a Windham affilliated entity. Handling both sales and rental transactions throughout the state of Florida and assists Windham Realty Group with international services. She has a long record of successfully guiding local and national clients with their real estate acquisitions and lease options.
Using her extensive knowledge of Florida's real estate market, she prides herself on giving all clients, both individual and institutional, the most precise and up-to-date details on the state of the market, its trends and property values, giving them a realistic outlook on what they can expect to achieve.
Christina is a member of the local, state and national Realtor association and holds certifications in commercial investments and property management. She obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from Florida Southwestern State College.
